# Our team Bubblemaps is a company founded by three crypto enthusiasts who felt the need for easier analytics, and anticipated the importance of InfoFi. What started in Europe has since grown into a global team, with people contributing from all around the world. ### Do you own BMT? No. BMT is a decentralized token, no one truly "owns" it. We do have an allocation, as explained in the tokenomics page, but emissions won’t start until 2026. Crypto isn’t our business model. In 2023, we raised $3M in equity to grow the team and scale the platform. Today, most of our revenue comes from B2B deals like iframe integrations and onchain investigation services. That said, we care a lot about the token. It plays a key role in the upcoming Intel Desk and is important to our brand and public recognition. ### Are you a tech company or a sleuthing company? Both. We started by building Bubblemaps to visualize token distributions. Over time, we got more involved in investigations, which turned out to be a natural fit: using our own product for research was a great way to improve it and get real user feedback. Today, we do both: building tools and uncovering what’s really happening onchain. We’re always pushing our sleuthing services to the highest levels; working with tech institutions, government agencies, and fuelling headlines of the global media. ### Are you hiring? Yes!
