# Our Vision

## **Bubblemaps — Visual Analytics for Onchain Trading**

### **What is Bubblemaps?**

Bubblemaps is a visual engine for onchain intelligence. Our platform transforms raw blockchain data into structured, visual insights — empowering traders, funds, and analysts to investigate networks, uncover insider activity, and spot early market signals across chains.

<figure><img src="/files/duCnJwpdTILVaivfPUo0" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### A New Financial Primitive: InfoFi

Onchain data is everywhere — but without structure, transparency turns into noise. In a space flooded with raw activity, structured data becomes the foundation of trust, security, and alpha. Bubblemaps is building the intelligence layer of Web3 — a new kind of infrastructure where information becomes accessible, actionable, and monetizable.&#x20;

*Just as DeFi unlocked capital, InfoFi unlocks intelligence.*

### **What Sets Bubblemaps Apart**

# How does it work?

### Tutorial

{% embed url="<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=co7nohtA8nA>" %}

### Search for a token

1. Select a token (name or contract address) — for example $SHIB

<figure><img src="/files/H0orx8Bpt4mVLz7IDeSY" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

2. Explore the bubble map of $SHIB:

{% embed url="<https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ve5omzh8SY5JB8CwZ6ID96RSG87SaqRW/view?usp=sharing>" %}

* Each bubble represents a top $SHIB holder (ranks #1 to #250).
* The size of the bubble reflects the amount of $SHIB it holds.
* Links between bubbles indicate blockchain transfers.
* Large clusters (connections between multiple holders) may reveal patterns worth investigating

### What are bubbles?

When you open the bubble map of a token (e.g. UNI), it shows the 250 top holders of this token as 250 bubbles <mark style="color:yellow;">**(1)**</mark>**,&#x20;**<mark style="color:yellow;">**(2)**</mark>**.** So each bubble represents a **current** holder, and the larger the bubble, the more tokens they hold.

Some bubbles are hidden by default if they belong to contracts or exchanges since the focus is on connections between genuine holders, not contracts. You can still reveal them by clicking the eye button next to them

Note: Addresses with very high transaction volume (like hot wallets) are labeled as *Supernodes*. Some features are limited for these nodes to keep things running smoothly. For example, you can’t open the full transfer table for them, and even if two super nodes are connected, they won’t show links on the map to avoid heavy computations.

<figure><img src="/files/1oJaBVYf15L2qhbXfwVm" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

When you click on a bubble <mark style="color:yellow;">**(4)**</mark>, a window opens displaying details about the address <mark style="color:yellow;">**(5)**</mark>

* The % of the supply it holds
* The amount of tokens
* The $ value

If the address is part of a cluster, the window also provides aggregated information about the cluster

<figure><img src="/files/jxDDQCwrkPD7Hdyw2I9h" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### What are links?

If two bubbles are linked, it means there has been an on-chain transfer between those holders. In V2, these transfers can involve any token and, in some cases, even cross-chain transfers. To examine a specific link and see how two holders are connected, click on the IN/OUT <mark style="color:yellow;">**(6)**</mark> menu. This will show transfer details, including all tokens transferred and the dates of the last transfer.

<figure><img src="/files/KsbOkI9qVNFbthnuuG4T" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

If you want to filter links, click on “All Tokens” <mark style="color:yellow;">**(7)**</mark> to open the "Transfers & Tokens" menu <mark style="color:yellow;">**(8)**</mark>, where you can filter which transfers to display. By default, all transfers between holders are shown, but you can choose to display only specific token transfers (e.g. USDC, USDT, ETH, AAVE, LINK...) or a mix. You can also filter transfers by amount <mark style="color:yellow;">**(9)**</mark>, showing only those above or below a certain $ value.

<figure><img src="/files/ViEg8f4mLBHax3YtdCE2" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

So when bubbles are linked and form clusters, it means they have sent funds to each other. And if they’re connected, the key question is—why? Is it an employer paying an employee, a VC receiving tokens, or someone trying to cover their tracks?&#x20;

This is where the fun begins!

### What is the date of the map?

With Bubblemaps V2, we’ve worked to make the data as close to real-time as possible. When you open a bubble map, it’s guaranteed to have been refreshed within the last six hours. This ensures an up-to-date experience, though there may still be some delays, especially for newly launched tokens. You can check the exact time the map was last computed on the top island <mark style="color:yellow;">**(10)**</mark>. And with Bubblemaps V2, you can also rewind and explore past token distributions using the Time Travel feature (see dedicated tab).

<figure><img src="/files/Qg2i2GN4hQzKidJjtIaE" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### How to share a bubble map?

If you want to share your bubble map with others, use the permalink button <mark style="color:yellow;">**(11)**</mark>. This will share the map exactly as you see it on your screen. Any adjustments—like enabling Magic Nodes, filtering transfers, changing dates, or adding/hiding addresses—will be saved and included in the link. If you haven’t made any changes and just want to share the default bubble map, simply copy the URL. This will display the standard map without any custom settings.

To export all the addresses from a bubble map—including Magic Nodes or manually added ones—use the export button <mark style="color:yellow;">**(12)**</mark> to download them as a spreadsheet.

<figure><img src="/files/0OeOXudWOLUurKT66nwV" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### What type of nodes are shown on a bubble map?

A bubble map is made of different types of nodes. Some are actual token holders, while others are added to make the map easier to understand. Each node can have one or more tags that explain what it represents.

#### **Node role**

* <mark style="color:$success;">`Holder`</mark>: an address that currently owns part of the token supply shown on the map. These are the main nodes of a bubble map.
* <mark style="color:$success;">`Magic Node`</mark>: a suggested address that is not a holder, but helps reveal hidden links between holders. Magic Nodes can make clusters easier to understand by showing an intermediate address that connects wallets which would otherwise appear unrelated. See the Magic Nodes section for more details. [More here](https://wiki.bubblemaps.io/bubblemaps-v2/magic-nodes)
* <mark style="color:$success;">`Time Node`</mark>: a suggested node that reveals wallets with coordinated timing. It can help show when several wallets were funded, created, or activated around the same time. See the Time Nodes section for more details. [More here](https://wiki.bubblemaps.io/bubblemaps-v2/time-nodes)
* <mark style="color:$success;">`Manually Added`</mark>: an address added by the user during analysis. This is useful when you want to test a specific address, follow an external lead, or add a wallet that is not shown automatically.

#### **Wallet type**

* <mark style="color:$warning;">`EOA`</mark>: a regular wallet address controlled by a private key. Most individual wallets are EOAs. They can hold tokens, receive funds, trade on DEXs, or interact with contracts.
* <mark style="color:$warning;">`Contract`</mark>: a smart contract address deployed onchain. Contracts can be token contracts, vesting contracts, multisigs, routers, bridges, or protocol addresses. Unlike EOAs, they are controlled by code rather than a private key.
* <mark style="color:$warning;">`CEX`</mark>: an address linked to a centralized exchange. These addresses are usually used for deposits, withdrawals, custody, or exchange operations. They often interact with many unrelated wallets, so they can create large connections on the map.
* <mark style="color:$warning;">`DEX`</mark>: an address linked to a decentralized exchange or liquidity protocol. These can include pools, routers, or other contracts used for onchain trading. DEX addresses are separated from regular contracts because they usually represent trading activity.

#### **Tags**

* <mark style="color:$primary;">`Fresh`</mark>: a newly funded address with little or no previous onchain activity. Fresh wallets are often important in investigations because coordinated actors may create new wallets before buying, receiving, or moving tokens.
* <mark style="color:$primary;">`Supernode`</mark>: a high-activity address with a large number of transfers. Supernodes are often exchanges, routers, bridges, services, or very active wallets. They can be useful, but they can also create noisy connections because many unrelated wallets interact with them.
* <mark style="color:$primary;">`Transfers`</mark>: the total number of transfers involving an address, including incoming and outgoing transfers. This number is unfiltered, meaning it reflects all transfers for that address, not only transfers related to the token shown on the map.

# Magic Nodes

Magic Nodes is one of our most advanced features. It reveals clusters of connected addresses that might not be visible on the default bubble map

### **The concept**

By default, Bubblemaps displays direct links between **the top holders** of a token. However, some connections may be indirect and involve intermediaries that are not holders themselves. For example:

* Multiple holders receiving gas fees from the same external address.
* Multiple holders sending funds to the same deposit address.

In these cases, you wouldn’t see any cluster on the default bubble map because those intermediaries are not holders themselves, and therefore, no links would be created with the current holders. Magic Nodes solves this by expanding the map to include addresses beyond the top holders. By adding these addresses, it creates connections with current top holders that would otherwise be missed, such as interactions with intermediaries, revealing hidden clusters and patterns

{% embed url="<https://youtu.be/co7nohtA8nA?t=312>" %}

### Example: Shiba Inu

Let’s break it down together to understand this concept&#x20;

When you open the bubble map of Shiba Inu without Magic Nodes ([link](https://v2.bubblemaps.io/map/PWljIpdYB8TZuUfaDSwT)), you’ll see one cluster representing 3% of the supply: holder 0x2d7 is directly connected to six other holders through SHIB transfers. Beyond this, there are no direct transfers between the other top holders of SHIB.

<figure><img src="/files/HbW6AnhMekSunElCfiEA" alt=""><figcaption><p>SHIB without Magic Nodes</p></figcaption></figure>

When you click the “Magic Nodes” button, it adds new addresses to your map, marked with dotted borders. Seven addresses were added to our previous cluster, forming the large orange cluster you now see ([link](https://v2.bubblemaps.io/map/LSxRoiNVWvIanZJdFyTS))

These addresses don’t show on the default map because they hold 0 SHIB, so they aren’t technically holders. However, they still connect other holders together. For example, address 0x09 sent all its SHIB to 18 different addresses, emptying itself. Since it holds nothing now, it wouldn’t appear by default, but Magic Nodes add this address back!&#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/qtgoghFns4kBbhAh7bwG" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Time Nodes

Many actors try to avoid detection by not linking their wallets directly. Instead, they use CEXs or bridges to fund multiple wallets, and then use those wallets to buy a token or participate in a presale. Fortunately, most of these actions are coordinated and can still be linked in an abstract way. That is exactly what Time Nodes are built for.

### Why Timing Matters?

Wallets that act within the same moments often share intent; This happens in situations such as:

* sniping tokens at launch
* rotating funds through CEXs
* executing coordinated sells
* claiming airdrops

Traditional clustering cannot detect these relationships.&#x20;

Time Nodes highlight them automatically

{% embed url="<https://youtu.be/co7nohtA8nA?t=162>" %}

### How does it work?

In traditional bubble maps, DEX, CEXs and contracts are hidden by default because they create large clusters that do not carry meaningful information.&#x20;

Time Nodes solve this by adding a time based dimension. Instead of showing an exchange as a single node, it is split into multiple abstract nodes, each representing a specific time window. Other wallets are only connected if they interacted with the same exchange during that window.

These Time Nodes are visually distinct on a bubble map. They appear as solid colored bubbles with a logo, rather than the usual gradient

<figure><img src="/files/DUpaorfDj3cQdlxJXC57" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

<figure><img src="/files/2DiYpwwABRFvuSGyBBz1" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Some examples

1. [$BULLISH](https://v2.bubblemaps.io/map/APo2ardwo87qWaG4NhMS)

Between Sep 13 and Sep 24, more than 150 wallets were funded from Binance in tight time windows. Each sent SOL to a fresh wallet, which then bought BULLISH in the first 30 minutes after launch on October 2. Several CEX clusters match several distinct funding timings.

<figure><img src="/files/hhGDjhXlMrYT5UcIvBwr" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

2. [$OVPP](https://v2.bubblemaps.io/map/dAbr0molRYwOtz8Kh9uV)

Multiple addresses sniped the token within very short time windows, forming a clear cluster around the Uniswap DEX

<figure><img src="/files/JFyZOsekDXCXTLCPGZIZ" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Time-Travel

As you know, token distributions are always changing as new holders buy and others sell. Since Bubblemaps tracks the top holders, the map evolves dynamically to reflect these changes.

With the time travel feature, you can rewind and explore how a token’s distribution looked at any point in its history, from launch to today

This is especially useful because the most important patterns often appear at a token’s launch—when VCs, market makers, advisors, influencers (or insiders) receive their allocations. Comparing the launch map with the current one can reveal valuable insights. This feature works perfectly alongside Magic Nodes for those looking to dive deeper into the data. To use time travel you can either click anywhere on the price chart <mark style="color:yellow;">(1)</mark> or use the date picker <mark style="color:yellow;">(2)</mark> & <mark style="color:yellow;">(3)</mark>

# Add addresses

For those who like to dig deeper, you have many options to add other addresses to a map

## Paste an address in the Address List

<figure><img src="/files/wyjNfDjBEms2Q8H1prPI" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Use the All Transfers table

1. Click on “Show All Transfers”

This displays the full activity and connections of the selected address, including links to addresses not currently visible on the bubble map

<figure><img src="/files/GA84vlmiRjJQqXTuJkdR" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

2. Use our filters and add as many addresses to your map

Our filtering options <mark style="color:yellow;">(2)</mark> allow you to refine the table to focus on relevant data. You can filter by direction (in or out), time (last week, last month, last year, or custom), chain, amounts, USD value, and tokens. Once filtered, you can add connected addresses one by one <mark style="color:yellow;">(3)</mark> using the green button or add them all at once with the bulk function at the bottom <mark style="color:yellow;">(4)</mark>

<figure><img src="/files/sH8BCvjAt4qzlyYW4e9i" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Import addresses in bulk from your clipboard

<figure><img src="/files/TZ9z8580AMdoh84ciM2B" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Try it now!

1. Copy the section below

```jsx
```

1. Open this bubble map: <https://v2.bubblemaps.io/map/F51IcXAmreRc0ciVDbQ4>
2. Import from clipboard

## Import addresses in bulk from a sheet

You can follow a similar process using a spreadsheet. For instance, export data from Etherscan into a CSV file, then import that file directly into Bubblemaps. This allows you to map and analyse the data efficiently

<figure><img src="/files/GTtCVanzdHp776Wt4O5j" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Show 500 Top Holders (instead of 250)

If you want to view more holders on the bubble map, you can increase the limit to the top 500 instead of the default 250. While we believe that Magic Nodes combined with the default 250 holders typically capture the most significant activity, this option can be useful in specific scenarios where more detailed analysis is needed.

<figure><img src="/files/vKlSzbvFKGgZcPCy7Add" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Trust the Magic Nodes

Or, you can rely on Magic Nodes to handle it for you. It automatically adds key intermediaries that aren’t token holders, uncovering connections you might have missed

<figure><img src="/files/4qxGOoWS9u7e8QEK4avZ" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Submit labels

Add context to onchain activity by labeling wallets on Bubblemaps

### 1. What are community labels?

Community labels let you assign a name to a wallet address, making it easier for everyone to understand who owns it or what it’s used for. Labels help identify teams, treasuries, funds, market makers, and other important wallets, making your bubble map more transparent and easier to explore. Once approved, your label becomes visible to all Bubblemaps users.

# How does it work?

## Introduction

Crypto has always been built on decentralization – the idea that collective intelligence outperforms any individual effort.  The same applies to investigations. Most crypto incidents are solved by multiple voices, each contributing a part of the story.&#x20;

This is why we built the Intel Desk, a **collaborative layer for investigations**

When a crypto incident happens, such as a hack, insider activity, or a suspicious launch – we create a case page. Each case becomes a live feed of findings from on-chain detectives on Crypto Twitter (CT). Contributors are ranked by their impact, reach, and how they helped move the case forward.

Users can follow how the story unfolded, who found what, and how each thread connects. And for investigators, it means their work is recognized, stored, and surfaced – not buried in a timeline.

<figure><img src="/files/0kEfi1RTlhUqUyhhhXV8" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Which cases get investigated?

Crypto Twitter has always investigated major incidents in real time. The Intel Desk doesn’t change that. It simply helps direct that energy toward what matters most, using a two-way system.

First, users vote on the cases they care about. The more votes a case gets, the higher its multiplier. For example:

* A case with 80% of the votes gets a 8x multiplier
* A case with 20% gets a 2x multiplier
* A case with 5% gets a 1.05x multiplier

Then, investigators are ranked based on how much their tweets helped move the case forward. Each featured tweet earns points, based on its quality and reach. These points are multiplied by the case’s score, so contributions to high-voted cases count even more. This way, the most impactful work gets the visibility and recognition it deserves, while the community helps steer the focus.

# Powered by $BMT

### 1. **Vote, Rank, Earn**

BMT creates a feedback loop between the crowd and the investigators. The community highlights what matters. Mappers follow that signal, knowing their work will be seen, valued, and rewarded accordingly.

* **Vote on cases**: Use your BMT to vote for the cases you care about. You’re not spending your tokens, just allocating them. Your vote determines the case multiplier, which boosts the impact of contributors working on that case.
* **Climb the leaderboard:** Contributors earn points when their tweets are featured. At the end of each season, top Mappers are rewarded based on their total points.
* **Get visibility:** The more a case is supported by BMT votes, the more attention it gets on the platform and across the ecosystem.

<figure><img src="/files/4uuOqOk6RRT8mTVX9Ivr" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### **2. Create and Fund Bounties**

Some investigations might not attract many votes but still matter to you or your community. That’s why anyone can spend BMT to launch an independent bounty. Pick a case, set a bounty with BMT, and once the investigation progresses, rewards can be distributed to contributors based on their impact.

It’s a decentralized system where anyone can launch an investigation and rally the community. Instead of a winner-takes-all model, it taps into the full power of Crypto Twitter.&#x20;

This setup supports both collective priorities and individual initiatives.

### **3. Unlock Exclusive Features**

Holding BMT gives access to exclusive tools and experiences across Intel Desk and Bubblemaps V2:

* Case summaries: Each case gets a simplified breakdown with AI so you can quickly understand the key events, actors, and findings.
* Claimable badges: As an investigator, you’ll be able to collect badges such as “First Mapper”, “First Voter”, or “Top Sleuth” to showcase your contributions.
* Pro analytics: Unlock deeper access to Bubblemaps V2, including advanced holder views, historical snapshots, and more granular data.

<figure><img src="/files/PHYxhsdOSr9H6fRD7R0a" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Deposit & withdraw

Deposits and withdrawals of BMT are managed through the same section of the Intel Desk, called “Your BMT.” You need to deposit tokens in your voting pool to participate in this community-driven investigation platform, allowing you to submit cases and vote. Both deposits and withdrawals can be made at any time. More details are provided below

<figure><img src="/files/0F1eJAPdXILjYobW7MBx" alt=""><figcaption><p>Your BMT Section</p></figcaption></figure>

## Deposit $BMT

Depositing BMT in your voting pool is straightforward. Go to the section “Your BMT” on the Intel Desk. Ensure your wallet is connected, and we’ll automatically detect your BMT balance. You can manually input an amount or use the percentage bar to select a portion of your total holdings

Approve the messages from your Solana wallet, and your BMT will be successfully deposited on the Intel Desk.

## Withdraw $BMT

BMT can be withdrawn at any time after being deposited. However, we’ve introduced a fee for users who withdraw too quickly. This discourages behaviours like depositing BMT, voting on one case, and immediately withdrawing all tokens, as well as preventing spammers and system gaming

The withdrawal fee starts high at 20% on the first day to deter such activities but decreases rapidly over time. It is halved after 48 hours (τ) and drops to less than 1% after 10 days. This structure ensures fair use while still providing flexibility for users.

Here’s the exact fee formula:

$$
\text{fee}(t) = \frac{\text{fee}\_{\text{0}}}{1 + \left(\frac{t}{\tau}\right)^2}
$$

Where:

* fee\_0= 20%
* τ = 48 hours

<figure><img src="/files/8uyU6TxOZdUzskYLuXah" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Here’s an approximate breakdown of the fee structure:

| Time After Deposit | Approximate Fee (%) |
| ------------------ | ------------------- |
| Day 0              | 20%                 |
| Day 2 (48 hours)   | 10%                 |
| Day 14             | 0.4%                |
| Day 30             | <0.1%               |

# Submit a case

Anyone can submit a case to the Intel Desk, which will then be voted on by all BMT holders.

To prevent spam, a minimum amount of $BMT is required to submit a new case. To submit a case, go to “Create a Case” section and allocate 100 $BMT to your proposal (you must have deposited $BMT in your voting pool). This ensures your case is “open” and visible to everyone. Once others begin allocating $BMT to your case, you can reduce your allocation, as long as it doesn’t fall below the 100 $BMT threshold.

You can visit your profile page to view all the cases you’ve submitted, along with their current status

<figure><img src="/files/6XE5nc4dBBooQJoqaSJF" alt=""><figcaption><p>Check your Ongoing Cases</p></figcaption></figure>

# Vote on a case

If you’re joining the Intel Desk for the first time, here’s what you need to do to vote on your case:&#x20;

1. **Connect your wallet**\
   This will serve as your account on the platform and enable you to manage your $BMT and participate in voting.
2. **Deposit $BMT**\
   You can deposit BMT in your voting pool in the section “Your BMT”. You can withdraw your $BMT at any time, but withdrawing too quickly may incur a fee
3. **Allocate $BMT to a case**\
   Once $BMT is deposited, choose any case and allocate all or part of your $BMT to it. The amount of $BMT allocated to each case determines how we prioritize our resources for investigations
4. **Reallocate $BMT**\
   **Y**ou can reallocate your votes to any case as many times as you like, free of charge. However, votes are only reviewed once a week to ensure efficient resource allocation and provide the stability needed to prioritize cases

# Tokenomics

<figure><img src="/files/ecxlT2oCt081iAoAztCP" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Utility

1. Powers the community-driven mechanism of the Intel Desk, allowing users to submit cases, vote, and allocate our on-chain sleuthing resources
2. Establishes an incentive system to boost adoption of The Intel Desk and grow our network of on-chain detectives.
3. Unlocks advanced features on Bubblemaps V2.

Bubblemaps has become a trusted investigative voice in crypto, with our work widely shared across the industry. We receive countless investigation requests from the community, making it increasingly difficult to decide which ones to prioritize. That’s where $BMT comes in.

With $BMT, users can propose, vote, and decide which investigations take precedence, creating a transparent system where the most relevant topics are decided collectively.

We’re introducing an incentive structure: users whose proposals (”**Proposers**”**)** are chosen will earn $BMT rewards, and those voting (”**Voters**”) on cases will gain early access to insights, giving them a unique edge. Lastly, we’ll reward onchain sleuth (”**Contributors**”) who actively assist in tackling community-driven investigations. While we’ll lead the effort, building a strong, collaborative network will be key.

# Cross Chain

LayerZero OFT is integrated for cross-chain BMT bridging

<figure><img src="/files/I6BMb5MxyqIhDZNFOK5H" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### BMT: An Omnichain Token

Over the past few months, we’ve been working closely with LayerZero to make BMT fully cross-chain, ensuring accessibility and flexibility across multiple ecosystems. BMT will be available on both Solana and BNB Chain, bridging the gap between two major ecosystems:

* Solana — Our most visited chain on Bubblemaps, with a strong user base and growing activity.
* BNB Chain — Our entry point into the EVM world and our first chain integrated on Bubblemaps

To maintain accessibility, the initial circulating supply at TGE will be evenly split between Solana and BNB Chain. BMT will follow LayerZero’s Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) standard, allowing seamless transfers between supported chains. The Intel Desk will eventually be accessible on both chains. Native cross-chain movements will be supported using Stargate and other bridges soon, making transfers between chains even smoother

The Intel Desk will launch first on Solana, as it’s the chain with the most requested investigations and our most active user base. We also want to add the Intel Desk natively on BNB Chain, so users won’t need to bridge to participate—they’ll be able to use it directly on BNB. The submission and voting process will be handled across both chains and aggregated for the final result.

### LayerZero V2 OFT&#x20;

The Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) Standard allows fungible tokens to be transferred across multiple blockchains without asset wrapping or middle chains.

This standard works by either debiting (<mark style="color:red;">**burn**</mark>) tokens on the source chain, sending a message via LayerZero, and delivering a function call to credit (<mark style="color:green;">**mint**</mark>) the same number of tokens on the destination chain.

This creates a unified supply across all networks that the OFT supports.

* [LayerZero v2 Documentation](https://docs.layerzero.network/v2/developers/evm/oft/quickstart)
* [LayerZero Audits](https://github.com/LayerZero-Labs/LayerZero-v1/tree/main/audit)

### BMT (Solana) - Native SPL Token

BMT is deployed as a Solana SPL token, serving as the native and primary version of the asset. As part of the Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) standard, it enables seamless cross-chain transfers without requiring wrapped assets. When BMT is sent to another blockchain, the Solana program <mark style="color:red;">**burns**</mark> the tokens while LayerZero relays the transaction. Upon receipt, an equivalent amount is <mark style="color:green;">**minted**</mark> on the destination chain, ensuring a consistent and unified supply across all supported networks.

### OFT Program (Solana)

The OFT Program on Solana is responsible for handling cross-chain transactions using LayerZero’s infrastructure. It manages the <mark style="color:red;">**burning**</mark> and <mark style="color:green;">**minting**</mark> of tokens during transfers, ensuring that the total supply remains unified across multiple blockchains. This program verifies and processes incoming messages from LayerZero, enabling secure, decentralized, and trust-minimized cross-chain interoperability for BMT.

### OFT Token (BNB Chain)

BMT is also deployed as a BEP-20 token on BNB Chain, functioning as an Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) within LayerZero’s ecosystem. When users transfer BMT from Solana, the BNB Chain contract mints an equivalent amount, ensuring a 1:1 supply balance between networks. Similarly, when BMT is sent back to Solana, the BNB contract burns the tokens before the Solana program re-mints them. This integration allows BMT to move seamlessly between chains while maintaining its total supply without the need for wrapped assets.

# Airdrop

The Intel Desk is inherently community-driven and must be fully operational from day one. To support this, a significant portion of our supply has been allocated for an airdrop, distributed across two main categories:

• V2 Users

• Moonlight Token Holders

# V2 Users

### Why an airdrop to V2 users?

Our community is our priority, and we’ve always wanted to reward our most loyal and active users. After releasing our V2 in private beta, we introduced a [leaderboard](https://x.com/bubblemaps/status/1864006700203962762) to track activity. The higher you rank, the more eligible you are for an exclusive V2 user airdrop.

To earn points, users need to:

* Actively use V2 and its features.
* Invite others through our system, ensuring they become active users too

### Who is eligible?&#x20;

The airdrop winners were selected as follows:

* Top 10: highest allocation
* Top 100: medium allocation
* Top 5000: 900 winners were chosen through a lottery system and a sybil detection algorithm / real usage activity, as many spam and bot behaviors were detected

Check your eligibility in this document: [**Eligibility Checker**](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1E3sUl0VMn_icqf40xor0zUNOyXk2I6lGtcr6hLheeP8/edit?gid=1990844231#gid=1990844231)

If you're eligible, connect your Solana address to the [Claiming Portal](/bmt/claim-portal) and claim your tokens at TGE

# Moonlight Migration

{% hint style="warning" %}
The migration has now ended.

<https://t.me/bubblemaps_news/169>
{% endhint %}

### What is Moonlight?

Moonlight is a token on the BNB Chain that we created in 2021. It provided [premium access](https://bubblemaps.io/get-premium) to our V1 and was fairly launched with the support of a loyal community from the beginning.

The token was named Moonlight because, at the time, we were offering a suite of features such as price alerts, trading tools, and on-chain analytics. Moonlight served as the token to access this entire toolkit. With the success of Bubblemaps, we decided to focus exclusively on this tool and rebranded our company to Bubblemaps in 2022

For more information about our rebranding:

• [Twitter announcement](https://x.com/bubblemaps/status/1543248136788815873)\
• [Medium article](https://bubblemaps.medium.com/hello-new-look-2a7e85305b81)\
• [Media coverage](https://bsc.news/post/moonlight-rebrands-to-bubblemaps)

If you're new to Bubblemaps, you might not be familiar with Moonlight yet. But for those who’ve been with us for a while, Moonlight holds a special place in our journey. With the launch of $BMT — a token that aligns with our current identity — we’re not just honoring our past, but also stepping up to new heights. This transition ensures that $BMT becomes a strong presence in the space, fully representing who we are today.

### Why an airdrop?

As early investors and supporters, Moonlight holders now have the opportunity to migrate their tokens to $BMT. A snapshot of the holders has already been taken, and only addresses included will be eligible to participate. This ensures the process rewards long-term holders while preventing exploitation by post-launch arbitrage buyers.

To facilitate this, we’ve created a Migration Portal where Moonlight holders can deposit their tokens and a Claim Portal to claim $BMT. The Migration Portal outlines migration terms, including a set price and vesting conditions. Holders have the flexibility to accept the deal fully, partially, or not at all, deciding how many tokens to migrate. This migration not only ensures wide token distribution at launch but also plays a key role in kickstarting the Intel Desk

### What are the migration terms?

20% of the BMT supply has been allocated to Moonlight holders. This allocation will be distributed proportionally. For example, if you hold 1% of the total Moonlight supply, you will receive 1% of the 20% allocation, which amounts to 0.2% of the total $BMT supply (or 2,000,000 $BMT). Your decision to migrate should depend on your confidence in $BMT’s future growth.&#x20;

$BMT allocated to Moonlight holders will have a one-year linear vesting schedule, with 25% unlocked at launch (TGE). This means you can claim 25% of your $BMT tokens at launch and 75% will be claimable gradually over 1 year.

### How to migrate?

1. Head to the [Migration Portal](https://migration.bubblemaps.io) and connect your personal wallet holding Moonlight (Metamask, Trustwallet, etc.)

<figure><img src="/files/UfCbnWg4DzbPxuDiBqag" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

2. Select the amount of Moonlight Token you want to migrate **(you can only do it ONCE)**
3. Provide your Solana address

:warning: **IMPORTANT NOTES:**

* The maximum amount you can migrate is the one included in the snapshot
* Migration can only be done <mark style="color:yellow;">**once**</mark> so ensure you select the correct amount
* Don't test with a small amount, you won't be able to migrate the rest
* The 7% Moonlight tax won’t impact your BMT amount
* Desktop is highly recommended to conduct the migration
* Use [Phantom Wallet](https://phantom.com/en-GB) to generate your Solana address
* You can pick the same destination Solana address for multiple Moonlight addresses
* Double-check your Solana address carefully. Any mistake in your Solana address will result in the loss of your funds

<figure><img src="/files/rTSAaK5AGDWgQym53Ni8" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

3. Click on "READ TERMS" — carefully review and tick each box one by one.
4. Click on “APPROVE” and “MIGRATE,” then confirm the transactions in your wallet.
5. Congrats, you've officially migrated! :partying\_face:

### How to claim?

1. Head to the [Claim Portal](https://claim.bubblemaps.io) and connect your Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare, or others) using the Solana address you provided in the Migration Portal.

<figure><img src="/files/e86vRI9QsDozNr1mzKO0" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

2. Once you have connected your address, you should see the migration terms. Click on “INITIALIZE VESTING” and confirm the transaction in your Solana wallet
3. After that, you can claim your $BMT :partying\_face: A % will be available to claim at launch, and the rest will become claimable gradually over one year. You can claim as frequently as you like—every day, even every hour!

NOTE:&#x20;

* The migration portal will be available for only a few days after TGE—make sure to migrate in time!
* Moonlight will stop trading once most users have migrated or sold their tokens.

# BNB Chain LP Support

<figure><img src="/files/7t8wuKb8FYP4FGGav8sA" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### **Bubblemaps: A $400K Community Initiative**

We’re excited to announce that Bubblemaps has earned $400,000 in support from the BNB Chain Liquidity Program — and we’ve decided to allocate this incentive to our community.

This initiative will directly benefit Bubblemaps V2 users, the people who actively explore token distributions, experiment with new features, and push the boundaries of onchain utility. These are not passive users — they’re hands-on, curious, and engaged. Rewarding them is our way of reinforcing what we believe in: crypto should be transparent, collaborative, and driven by users.

Our community will soon take on a much bigger role with the launch of the Intel Desk, our upcoming investigation platform. The Intel Desk will let users decide which investigations matter most. They’ll vote, contribute, and help lead the search for transparency onchain — powered by $BMT

On the infrastructure side, BNB Chain has become a key pillar for Bubblemaps. It now leads in $BMT volume, number of holders, and user activity. That’s why we’ve already locked half of our token supply on BNB Chain and why we’re committed to doubling down on the ecosystem — from deeper integrations to community-led initiatives.

The combination of strong community support, powerful tools like Bubblemaps V2, and our growing partnership with BNB Chain sets the stage for a new chapter. One where users don’t just watch the action — they shape it

### **The winners**

We’ve chosen to distribute this incentive to 400 winners, each receiving $1,000 in BNB. The winners were selected from our V2 user base, focusing on those who’ve actively contributed during the beta. To collect addresses for the distribution, we emailed users asking them to fill out [this form](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1Xg9jc0atC64qe1tMq2bgWoZ7PA8eiFChn4pctXPAoIo/edit). The winners will receive BNB directly in their wallets — no further action needed on their end.

# Our team

Bubblemaps is a company founded by three crypto enthusiasts who felt the need for easier analytics, and anticipated the importance of InfoFi. What started in Europe has since grown into a global team, with people contributing from all around the world.

### Do you own BMT?

No.&#x20;

BMT is a decentralized token, no one truly "owns" it. We do have an allocation, as explained in the tokenomics page, but emissions won’t start until 2026.

Crypto isn’t our business model. In 2023, we raised $3M in equity to grow the team and scale the platform. Today, most of our revenue comes from B2B deals like iframe integrations and onchain investigation services.

That said, we care a lot about the token. It plays a key role in the upcoming Intel Desk and is important to our brand and public recognition.

### Are you a tech company or a sleuthing company?

Both. We started by building Bubblemaps to visualize token distributions. Over time, we got more involved in investigations, which turned out to be a natural fit: using our own product for research was a great way to improve it and get real user feedback. Today, we do both: building tools and uncovering what’s really happening onchain.

We’re always pushing our sleuthing services to the highest levels; working with tech institutions, government agencies, and fuelling headlines of the global media.

### Are you hiring?

Yes! We are always seeking new sleuths to join our team. Take a look at the detailed description and application form [here](https://bubblemaps.notion.site/On-chain-sleuthing-Bubblemaps-189e582489e644099090c3824a66765e).

For other positions, we rarely post offers, and don’t have a dedicated place for this.

### Do you love baguettes?

Yes :flag\_fr:
