# Time-Travel

As you know, token distributions are always changing as new holders buy and others sell. Since Bubblemaps tracks the top holders, the map evolves dynamically to reflect these changes.

With the time travel feature, you can rewind and explore how a token’s distribution looked at any point in its history, from launch to today

This is especially useful because the most important patterns often appear at a token’s launch—when VCs, market makers, advisors, influencers (or insiders) receive their allocations. Comparing the launch map with the current one can reveal valuable insights. This feature works perfectly alongside Magic Nodes for those looking to dive deeper into the data. To use time travel you can either click anywhere on the price chart (1) or use the date picker (2) & (3)
