# Swap
Buy and sell tokens directly from Bubblemaps.
### 1. What is Swap?
Swap lets you buy and sell the token you’re exploring without leaving its bubble map. Connect your wallet, choose an amount, and select the asset you want to pay with
### 2. Connect your wallet
Click **Connect** and select your wallet. Once connected, your wallet address and available balance appear at the top of the swap panel.
Click your wallet address to open the wallet menu.
### 3. Enter an amount in dollars
The amount field works in **US dollars**, so you can choose how much value to buy or sell without calculating the number of tokens yourself.
For example, entering **$100** in Buy means buying approximately $100 worth of the token. In Sell, it means selling approximately $100 worth of your holdings.
The panel displays an estimated token amount. This estimate may change as market prices and available quotes update.
Use the shortcuts to enter an amount quickly:
* **Buy:** choose $10, $100, $500, or **Max**.
* **Sell:** choose 10%, 25%, 50%, or 100% of your available holdings.
### 4. Choose what to pay with or receive
#### Pay with
When buying, **Pay with** lets you choose the asset you’ll spend: the chain’s **native token** or a supported **stablecoin**.
For example, on Solana, you can choose **SOL** or **USDC** to buy the token shown on the map. Your amount is still entered in dollars.

#### Receive in
When selling, **Receive in** lets you choose the asset you’ll receive: the chain’s **native token** or a supported **stablecoin**.

### 7. Adjust swap settings
Click the **settings icon** next to Buy and Sell to review the available options. **Settings may vary depending on the chain.**
* **Slippage:** the price movement you’re willing to accept before the swap fails.
* **Priority:** the transaction priority level.
* **MEV protect:** an option designed to help reduce exposure to certain forms of transaction exploitation.
The settings panel also displays the **platform fee**.
### 8. Submit your swap
Review your trade before submitting:
1. **Amount:** the dollar value you’re buying or selling.
2. **Estimated amount received:** how many tokens you’re expected to receive.
3. **Price impact:** how much your trade is expected to affect the token’s price.
Bubblemaps displays warnings when conditions such as low liquidity or high price impact could affect your trade. Review these warnings before confirming your swap. If your swap fails, refresh the page and check your wallet balance and transaction history before trying again.
#### 9. View your transaction
Once your swap is complete, a confirmation shows the amount **bought** or **sold**. Click the **transaction hash** to view the transaction on the chain’s explorer
