## Utility

1. Powers the community-driven mechanism of the Intel Desk, allowing users to submit cases, vote, and allocate our on-chain sleuthing resources
2. Establishes an incentive system to boost adoption of The Intel Desk and grow our network of on-chain detectives.
3. Unlocks advanced features on Bubblemaps V2.

Bubblemaps has become a trusted investigative voice in crypto, with our work widely shared across the industry. We receive countless investigation requests from the community, making it increasingly difficult to decide which ones to prioritize. That’s where $BMT comes in.

With $BMT, users can propose, vote, and decide which investigations take precedence, creating a transparent system where the most relevant topics are decided collectively.

We’re introducing an incentive structure: users whose proposals (”**Proposers**”**)** are chosen will earn $BMT rewards, and those voting (”**Voters**”) on cases will gain early access to insights, giving them a unique edge. Lastly, we’ll reward onchain sleuth (”**Contributors**”) who actively assist in tackling community-driven investigations. While we’ll lead the effort, building a strong, collaborative network will be key.

Along the way, we’ve been joined by multiple investors who share our vision of making on-chain data easy and accessible. Our investors are split into two main categories:

### Protocol Development and R\&D

This covers essential infrastructure costs to keep Bubblemaps scalable and reliable as we grow, including:

* Servers to support real-time data processing
* Integrating new chains into the platform
* Scaling infrastructure for API access and iframe integrations

### Team (present & future)

Incentivize current and future team members. With a focus on expanding the team, it ensures we can attract new talent and retain key contributors.

### Binance Wallet IDO

On March 11, 2025, we conducted an [IDO with Binance Wallet](https://x.com/BinanceWallet/status/1899355091532157228), selling 4% of the supply to the Binance Wallet community. The goal was to initiate a collaboration with Binance, which later helped us get the Binance listing
